Downtown & Crossroads

Updated: Aug 6, 2019

Affare- the two main dishes I’ve tried here are the Jägerschnitzel and the lobster benedict. Both amazing. Plus, live JAZZ on the weekends while you eat

Would add that the “Mac & Cheese” is another great option here.

The Majestic: Classic steakhouse with jazz lounge downstairs that does weekend brunch. The sliders are my favorite (who doesn’t love filet sandwiches for breakfast?) Also, the benny selection is great.

Bristol: It’s a chain and it’s a bit more expensive, but damn they have a great brunch. They have a wide selection and since its buffet style you don’t have to choose just one thing. They do have a raw bar as part of brunch.

You Say Tomato: They really do breakfast and it’s really more part of Hospital Hill. Amazing little hole in the wall with odds and ends furnishings.

Succotash: They do serve succotash, haven’t actually tried it though. The breakfast menu here is stellar. I always do a burrito, but can’t really go wrong. The Mexican coke with espresso will have you wired and ready for your day. Also, try the cake!
