Downtown/Crossroads EXTRA VIRGIN: This is by far the best happy hour in KC if you ask me. Most of the menu is half off, and they run drink and beer specials. To me, the pig ear salad is one of my favorite things to eat in town (honestly all of the weird bites section of the menu are worth ordering).
La Bodega- (also in Leawood) Fun spanish tapas style place that has a very expansive happy hour menu. I suggest ordering a few plates from each section. Some of my fav’s - patatas bravas, patatas con ajo, champinones a la plancha, mejillones y chorizo
Nara- Great sushi spot, Wednesdays is ladies night and it’s happy hour all night! Also super cheap options, I actually recommend the appetizer sampler for just yourself because it’s smaller portions.
Yard House: Super random menu with good discounts on most everything for HH. They also have a great beer selection.
Tannin Wine Bar and Kitchen: Honestly a solid wine bar, great for sharing small plates, nice calm patio. I personally like getting the charcuterie, cheese plate, and the veggie sampler
Drunken Fish: Decently priced happy hour. They also recently opened up an awesome patio that gives a great view of the city. Some of their cocktails can be super sweet, you have been warned.
Mission Taco: This happy hour is actually a reverse. It starts at 10. The tacos and tequila are all $2 at that point. The flavors are always good, but I think it’s a bit pricey during normal hours for tacos.
Pierponts: While their full dinner menu might not stack up to other upscale spots in town, their HH definitely is worth going. The bar itself is also one of the prettiest in town if you ask me, and the burger is the highlight.
River Market
Tribe Street Kitchen: Eclectic global menu. Happy hour deals are pretty good, if i remember correctly the korean shortrib was the standout. Plus, you can take the street car.
