East Bottoms

The J Rieger and Co Distillery: This just opened and I can tell it will be one of my favorites. The crew at Rieger are all great folks and they have hired some of the best bar staff in town to make this happen. There are two bars, one upstairs which is more casual and then the lounge in the basement. They do serve food upstairs. They have a beer from KC Bier that is specifically brewed for them. Cocktails made with their products (obviously). Plus, as I mentioned before, they have a slide from the upper level down. How could you not love that?

Knuckleheads: Complete dive spot across the street from the Rieger. It’s actually a really cool place with a different vibe than anywhere else I’ve really been to. They have four music stages so there is always some sort of live music going on.
