Westport

Cava: This is a small champagne bar on the far south side of Westport. You don’t need to go through the metal detectors on the weekends to get here. To this day, bubbles and french fries are amongst my favorite food/bev pairings and their combo here is awesome (the house hot sauce is incredible).

Julep: Fun upscale whiskey bar, complete with a ladder that the bartender will use to grab liquor requested. I have also been here during live music sessions.

Bluestem: One of my favorite spots in KC to grab a drink. The menu changes regularly and throughout my time in KC, I can't think of a single drink I didn't like that came from this bar. To me, this is a must go.

Harry’s: This is a classic spot. Often the place I will end my nights in westport. Overall a great bar with a great patio.

Agreed, it’s always such a random mixture of people. The patio is the place to be.

Bistro 303: A super cute french bistro style gay bar. Good drinks, and a fun exposed brick patio (although it is a little small)

Joe’s: No this isn’t a place to drink, but a westport night isn’t complete without a slice from here.
