RiverMarket and the Northland

River Market

Il Lazzarone: This is the best pizza in town hands down. Artisanal yet old school style with the oven being a centerpiece of the kitchen. They also do great charcuterie boards.

Garozzos: Not really in Rivermarket, but whatever. This is an old school Italian spot. They actually moved here from The Hill in StL. The Spedini is the highlight of the menu. Also, they have T Ravs!

Le Fou Frog: Traditional French food (I’d rate it second to a spot up North called Cafe Des Amis). It’us a bit pricey but for a date or special occasion you can’t go wrong. The Foie comes with a glass of sauternes and is a must!

Northland

Cafe Des Amis: Run by a husband (FOH and wine) and wife (Chef) duo. This place is my favorite place for French food. Everything is stellar from the bouillabaisse to the quail. The most fun and delicious thing to do here is ask if they can do a chef’s choice menu (might not be able to happen on any given night).
